Just a few hours ago, Treasury Sec. Yellen stated, “I expect inflation to remain above 2%, but to diminish over the course of the year”. The US market already had a rough day today with the DOW giving back all the gains it made earlier in the day. While the markets are still trying to find the bottom, it is time to look at some value stocks.
A small-cap mining company Temas Resources Corp. (OTC US:TMASF) is making huge strides of development based on recent press releases. There are too many bullish signs to count for this small company trading at mere 10 c. It really could potentially profit from a higher percentage of global commerce than many other companies out there. Temas Resources is an exciting mining and technology company focusing on environmentally friendly mineral processing technology. It has a long-term goal to move from a producer to a royalty and licensing company.
Recently, Temas Resources Corp. (OTCMKTS:TMASF) announced that Robert Schafer has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. As per the press release, Mr. Schafer has more than 30 years of experience working internationally in business development and exploration roles with major and junior mining companies. Not too long ago, in October 2021, the company announced that Temas Resources Corp and its strategic partner, Erin Ventures Inc. (“Erin”) [TSXV: EV], have jointly commissioned an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Piskanja Boron Project. It is anticipated that the updated PEA should be complete over the next 90 days.
“This is an exciting project as borate supply is becoming tighter and tighter,” Michael Dehn, CEO of Temas Resources. “As the world economies continue to grow so does their need for various boron products such as insulation fiberglass, borosilicate glass, thin film transistors (used to produce LCD panels), fertilizer, tiles and much more.”
The budgeted expenditures for the completion of the PEA and the Elaborate will be funded by Temas as its initial contribution towards earning an interest in Piskanja. Pursuant to the terms of an agreement, Erin has provided Temas with the irrevocable right and option to earn up to a 50% undivided interest in its Piskanja Borate Project. As total consideration for the option, Temas will incur up to €10,500,000 in work expenditures towards the development of Piskanja.
